Hojo Tekko is one of Japan's representative ironworks that has a history of over 100 years, supporting Japan's rapid economic growth. It is based on a valuable historic building that has been partially restored, and the furniture consists of designs by 20th-century modernist architects such as Marcel Breuer and Mies van der Rohe. Most of the furniture is antique and quite valuable, imported from Germany, Czechoslovakia, and other countries. The Czech chair is also an original, not a reproduction.
The studio has an area of 93 square meters with a ceiling height of 290 centimeters.

Terms of Service
1. Reservation
- Reservations can be made by phone or email.
- You can keep (provisional reservation) up to 3 slots.
- At the keep (temporary reservation) stage, if we do not hear from you one week before the reservation date, we may cancel it.
- Please note that this reservation will be decided first.
2. Fees and payment
- A 20% surcharge will be added to the regular rate for use on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and after hours on weekdays.
- If you cancel after confirming your reservation, you will be charged 100% of the reservation time.
- For the first time use, the payment method will be bank transfer in advance by the specified date or cash on the day.
3. Hours of use
- Normal operating hours are 9:00-19:00.
- Please contact us directly for use after hours.
- The usage time is the time from entering the room to leaving the room (from loading to unloading).
- Even if you start later than the reserved time, you will be charged from the reserved time.
- Extensions are available in 30 minute increments. Please note that we may refuse your request depending on the reservation status.
4. Studio support
- No studio assistant. Please note that we cannot assist with filming or loading/unloading.
- In principle, you can move in from 15 minutes before the reservation. Please note that you may not be able to enter the room due to the previous customer's shooting or maintenance.
- We can also receive and collect packages other than the shooting day. However, since the staff is not stationed in the studio, we cannot respond outside the hours specified by our company. Please be sure to contact us in advance.
5. Other Provisions
5.1 Prohibitions
- Fires・Special photography of cigarettes and other objects is generally prohibited. (Please contact us in advance if you wish)
- If you wish to use smoke, please contact us in advance.
- We also refuse photography that violates public order and morals.
- Please check in advance if you use a generator.
- Smoking is prohibited in the studio. Please smoke in designated smoking areas.
- Please refrain from using audio at high volume.
- If we find that the shooting content differs from the one at the time of reservation application, if we find an act that disturbs the neighborhood, or if we judge that it is in violation of the terms of use, we may stop using it even during the shooting. . In that case, the normal fee at the time of application will be charged.
5.2 Management of studio furniture and equipment
- Please restore the status quo after shooting.
- Many of the furniture and equipment in our studio are precious vintage items, so please handle them with care.
- Avoid moving furniture unnecessarily. If the furniture is damaged, repair or compensation will be required.
- Always use at least two people when moving large pieces of furniture.
5.3 Treatment of walls and floors
- Please do not use nails or screws on the walls, floors, ceilings, etc., or use strong tapes that may damage the walls. If damage occurs, repair or compensation will be required.
5.4 Garbage disposal
- Please take all the garbage that comes out after using the studio with you.
5.5 Management of valuables and equipment
- Please note that the studio will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or theft of photography equipment or valuables brought in.
5.6 Copyright Notice
- The paintings, posters, etc. installed in the studio may be copyrighted. Please be mindful of copyrights and take responsibility for your own photography.
5.7 Parking
- There is no parking lot in the studio, so please use nearby coin parking.
6. Responsibilities when using the studio
- Please note that we will not be held responsible for any injuries caused by natural disasters such as earthquakes or force majeure natural disasters while using the studio.
- The studio is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur during use.
- For shooting outside the studio, please apply and obtain permission directly on your side.
- By accepting a reservation, you are deemed to have agreed to all of the terms and conditions.
Precautions when using our studio
- No shoes are allowed in the studio. Please use only shoes for shooting.
- Please note that noise may occur when the ironworks are in operation.
- Since the building is old, there may be some leaks. note that.
- Please be careful not to enter any place other than the ironworks studio.
