Kyu Kaigan Studio.8 | Kyu Kaigan Studio

A studio boasting a spacious area, which is the largest within the Hojo Ironworks. Several decades ago, it was used as a full-scale site for ironworking. Currently, it is undergoing the application process to be recognized as a tangible cultural property by Kawasaki City. The ceiling beams, in particular, are valuable elements that are challenging to reproduce with modern construction methods. Sound recording for audio purposes is possible during daytime hours. Due to the building's structural limitations, air conditioning cannot be installed, so we provide spot coolers instead. We appreciate your understanding.

The adjacent Studio 17 can also be used as a filming or waiting room.

*Please note that as our studio is on the second floor of a building and access is by stairs, vehicles cannot be brought directly into the studio.
